DEFECTIVE ITEMS (put what Orca puts on clothing)

Orca guarantees that its products are manufactured to the highest quality standards and that they have a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

In the event that a customer receives a product with a manufacturing defect, they must report it within 15 days of receiving the order to the following email: orca.support@orbea.com in order to verify and process the claim.

Orca reserves the right to repair the garment or, if this is not possible, to manufacture it again.

The Orca product range is made of high-performance products which are manufactured with high-quality materials and the latest technologies on the sports market.

Despite our efforts to create equipment that can withstand continuous use, these garments are sometimes susceptible to wear.

Athletic wear, like any other type of clothing, does not last permanently. However, by following some simple guidelines as shown in the following paragraph, we can extend the life of the product.

Orca recommends following these maintenance and care instructions in order to slow down the wear on the garments from their continuous use and extend their life.

Before use:

It is recommended to avoid using sunblock, balsamic oils and other products for warming (in winter) or sun protection (in summer) under garments that are made with elastic fibers. These products contain chemicals that lead to the rapid deterioration of all fabrics made with Spandex.

After use:

After each use, it is advisable to hang the clothing items up in a ventilated area or wash them immediately.

Athletic clothing should never be dried under direct sunlight, nor should it be kept moist in a non-ventilated environment (e.g. plastic bags, sport bags, suitcases, etc.).

If you sweat excessively, we recommend that you rinse off the garments after each use, to protect the fibers from the effects of bacteria from sweat.

Washing

Washing a garment means stressing the fabric and therefore the seams. This is why it is recommended to wash athletic clothing separately without other clothing/accessories so as to avoid friction. Before washing, turn the garments inside out, with the seams on the outside.

The clothing can be washed in a washing machine, but always inside a laundry bag, on a delicate cycle and with lukewarm water (30ºC maximum).

We do not recommend using bleach and/or softeners; washing with mild liquid detergent is sufficient. We do not recommend soaking, twisting or rubbing the garment, or using a clothes dryer. To remove excess water from the garment, we recommend that you gently squeeze it with your hand and then either dry flat or hang dry.

Potential Problems

Pilling:

Pilling on fabric does not occur by itself; it is always the result of friction or abrasion with rough surfaces. For this reason, we suggest that you do not expose your garments to rough or sharp surfaces.

Do not wash the clothing together with gloves, backpacks, bags or any other item that has Velcro strips which inevitably cause pilling. Remember that pilling is never a production failure, but a result of the mechanical actions described above.

Fabric Wear

Sweat contains toxins; for some of us more than others. This is due to the development of bacteria. Functional fabrics are delicate by nature and with use they can deteriorate. To reduce wear, we suggest rinsing off garments immediately after each use and to never place wet clothing in an enclosed area, such as a sports bag or plastic bag.

DESIGN DISCREPANCIES

The process of customizing equipment is complex and a result of the joint effort between the client and Orca with the goal of achieving maximum satisfaction for the end user.

However, the manufacturing process can sometimes result in error. In the event that the client receives their order with incorrect colors, printing or manufacturing problems, they must inform us within 7 days of receiving the order via the following email address: orca.support@orbea.com for the verification and subsequent processing of the claim.

Once the claims have been verified, they can be processed. Orca will consider each case individually and offer the best possible solution to the club,

No refunds are allowed for manufacturing problems with the product. As noted previously Orca will be responsible for offering the best possible solution to the club.
